The Full Mission
FULL Creative’s mission is to help change the way the world works. Ideas are not bound by place or time, and their implementation shouldn’t be either. We are building toward a future when people can contribute free from limitations. We see the potential for a more inclusive, more competitive model where outputs trump inputs.
We believe people should be able to work and learn together whether they’re across the table or across the world from each other. In an office tower conference room, on a commuter train, or in a sidewalk cafe; we empower people to communicate, collaborate, and produce. We don’t just want to change the world, we want to improve it through solutions that scale, empower and disrupt our expectations.
As a company, we value learning, sharing, and giving back and work to integrate those values on a regular basis in all we do.
As a Sales Manager, you will lead the operation of the Sales department. You will be a resource for our team of Account Executives, be accountable for their performance, offer them support, and escalate any issues in order to allow them to focus on their top priority – selling. You will work to empower direct reports to succeed through training & motivation on a regular basis to ensure that your team members are product experts (and you are a product expert too). You will continuously work to identify strengths and weaknesses in your respective team members & coach appropriately, along with giving each employee actionable steps to improve and track progress across regular 1:1s.
As a senior contact with potential clients, the Sales Manager will be responsible for providing superior sales expertise, excellent phone skills and displaying accuracy in describing what our company can do for potential clients. The Sales Manager is expected to be knowledgeable of all our services and function with considerable independence providing equally superior assistance to potential clients, existing clients, and staff alike.
Our Sales Manager will operate on a 40-hour work week (sometimes evening, weekends, or odd hours according to cyclical demand). You will be supervising a team of 11-15 team members on a daily basis.
As the supervisor of a team of Account Executives, you will assist with new accounts, escalate new account issues, provide support, and follow up on their production.
You will be expected to be able to join us in our Portland office at least 1 day a week while enjoying a commute-free work-week the remainder of the time.
To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 1-3+ years of sales management experience (preferably in a telephony/software sales company or similar industry), and have 5+ years of selling and closing experience.
You should be compassionate about people and have outstanding speaking and listening skills (including public speaking) and exceptional customer service skills (efficiency, friendliness, and a positive attitude).
These excellent interpersonal skills should extend to having a professional demeanor in occasionally stressful and difficult situations. You should also have the ability to understand and implement oral and written instructions and effectively relay those instructions to employees.
As this is a remote, computer-based position, you should be able to effectively operate a computer-based (VOIP) phone system and be proficient in Google-based products, like Google Docs, Sheets, etc. You’ll also need to be comfortable using scheduling programs, managing calendar timelines, and entering information into appropriate computer databases. Compiling reports and statistical information will also be a fun part of your job!
Learning: You should be continually learning as part of your professional and personal development. You should seek out new knowledge and ways to do things. We share the growth mindset of building a “learn it all” organization rather than a “know it all” organization.
