Boise architect Macy Miller built herself a 196-square-foot tiny house, and now lives in it with her partner, their baby, and a Great Dane named Denver. The house has gotten international attention and has been featured in TIME magazine, among other media outlets.
Living in a tiny house can be a departure from the typical American lifestyle, but Miller sees freedom in that. “I think this is a movement of people that say, yeah, that doesn’t work for me. I’m going to do something that does,” she says.
