FULL Creative is thrilled to announce we’ve been included in Oregon Business Magazine’s 100 Best Green Workplaces! Oregon Business Magazine compiles this annual list through a combination of anonymous employee surveys and an independent assessment of each company and their sustainability practices. Last year, 434 companies and nonprofits were considered, and a whopping 17,000 employees took the time to fill out the seventh annual survey. The top 100 who made the cut were shown to have a strong commitment to sustainability and a workplace that empowers their employees to do the same.
Thrilled might be an understatement. Sustainability is a topic near and dear to our hearts. FULL Creative believes a green workplace has a positive impact not only on the bottom line and this planet we call home, but on the local community we’re a part of and the workforce that forms our team. We strive to consider the environmental impact of nearly every business aspect, from our foundational work model to our coffee grounds disposal to the way we engage our employees.
One of our greatest tools for getting our remote employees on board is our online university, SustainableU. We thought this would be a great time to unveil its brand new website. Through monthly challenges, informative videos and links, badges, and the chance to earn some pretty awesome prizes, SustainableU is geared towards encouraging our team members to discover how even the smallest things in our lives can have a huge impact. We’ve challenged our teammates to make changes like switching to LED bulbs, trading in their cars for bicycles, and being mindful of their water usage. Head over to www.gosustainableu.com, explore, and maybe take on a challenge or two!
